Where Members Can Serve

Members in good standing may volunteer in several capacities. Each role is part-time and is sized to fit around a working professional's schedule.

Chapter Committees

Programming, recruitment, and event committees support each chapter's local operations. Time commitment is typically two to four hours per month.

Working Groups

The Society's working groups on policy, civic engagement, and professional development meet on a recurring basis and produce member briefings. Working group participation is open to Fellows and Patrons.

Event Teams

The annual leadership summit and major chapter events are produced by member-led event teams. Service on an event team is concentrated in the weeks leading up to the event.

Content Production

Members with writing, editing, design, or production skills can contribute to the Society's briefings, social presence, and event materials. Time commitment varies by role and project.

How to Get Involved

To volunteer, contact the Society at info@cyplasvegas.com with "Volunteer" in the subject line. Indicate which roles interest you and a brief description of relevant skills or experience. A member of the Society's team will follow up to discuss where your time and skills would be most useful.

A Note on Service

The Society is built by its members. Volunteers are not unpaid labor; they are the Society. Members who serve in volunteer roles set the direction of chapter and national programming, build the relationships that make the Society work, and develop the leadership skills the Society exists to cultivate.
