Founding Chapter: Las Vegas
The founding chapter of Conservative Young Professionals is in Las Vegas, Nevada. The chapter meets quarterly for chapter dinners and irregularly for the closed-door speaker series. Las Vegas chapter members include professionals across law, finance, public policy, entrepreneurship, and government service.
Las Vegas-based applicants are admitted to the founding chapter on acceptance of their membership application. The chapter's first quarterly dinner will be held in advance of the Society's annual leadership summit.
Planned Chapters
Additional chapters are planned for Reno, Phoenix, Salt Lake City, and Boise. We are recruiting founding members for each. Chapters are established once a chapter has at least twenty founding Fellows or Patrons committed and a Chapter Chair has been identified and confirmed by the national board.
Establish a Chapter
Professionals interested in establishing a chapter in their city should contact the Society with "Chapter" in the subject line. We will respond with a chapter charter packet and a call to discuss founding membership recruitment and chapter programming.
Chapter Operations
Each chapter is led by an elected Chapter Chair, Vice Chair, and Programs Director, serving one-year terms. Chapters set their own programming calendar within the framework of the Society's national programming. Chapter operating funds come from a portion of national dues, allocated by the board based on chapter size and activity.
