The Board

Conservative Young Professionals is governed by a founding board of professionals serving two-year terms, elected by the membership. The board sets the Society's strategic direction, ratifies chapter charters, oversees programming, and ensures fidelity to the Society's principles.

The founding board roster is being finalized in advance of the Society's first general membership meeting. A complete board listing, with biographies, will appear on this page once the founding board is seated. Members will be notified of the board's formation and the first board meeting by email.

The Membership Committee

Applications for membership are reviewed by the Membership Committee, a standing committee appointed by the board. The Committee meets weekly to review applications and votes on admissions. The Membership Committee Chair is appointed annually.

Chapter Leadership

Each chapter is led by a Chapter Chair, a Vice Chair, and a Programs Director, elected by chapter members for one-year terms. Chapter leadership is responsible for organizing local programming, recruiting new members, and representing the chapter to the national board.

Founding Director

The Society was founded by a working group of Nevada professionals in 2026 with the goal of building a serious, durable professional society for the next generation of conservative leaders in the American West. The founding director can be reached through the Society's general inbox.

Get involved in leadership

Members in good standing may stand for chapter leadership positions and, after one year of membership, for the national board. To express interest in leadership service, contact the Society with "Leadership" in the subject line.
