Chapter Dinners

Each chapter holds four chapter dinners per year, one per quarter. Chapter dinners are open to all chapter members and bring together professionals across industries for substantive conversation, brief remarks from a featured guest, and the kind of unhurried connection that the Society exists to make possible.

The Speaker Series

The Society's speaker series is a closed-door, members-only program featuring candid conversations with policy leaders, scholars, journalists, and operators on the issues that matter to the American West. The series is held under the Society's standard convention: comments are not for attribution, and the conversation is the product. Fellows and Patrons receive priority registration; Associates may attend on availability.

Annual Leadership Summit

The Society's annual leadership summit brings the full membership together for two days of programming, including keynote addresses, panel sessions, working group meetings, and the Society's annual general meeting. The summit is held in the late spring.

Working Groups

Members may opt into the Society's working groups, which meet on a recurring basis and produce member briefings. Current working groups address policy, civic engagement, and professional development. Working group membership is open to Fellows and Patrons.
